totally disagree on cotto. cotto rode him like a diaper. he was the only fighter in floyds second career that made him work & forced him to stay on point the entire fight.
You watched a different fight. Maybe the fight you watched was photo shopped.
Lol, bruh check the first five rounds how silent the crowd is coz Floyd is making Cotto look like an amateur. Then, for no reason at all, Floyd starts fighting on the inside from the sixth round on.
Finally Cotto can touch him (mostly shoulders and elbows but at least he touching him now so the crowd cheers on). There were even times were Floyd would intentionally go to the ropes and wait for Cotto.
Then in rounds eleven and twelve, just to make sure he gets the decision, Floyd starts fighting on the outside again and nails cotto left, right, and centre with leads and counters, and has him staggered and on ***** street more than once.
Even the commentators could see this ish man and they made comments about it. You'd have had to be blind not to have seen it. Floyd toyed with that guy. He could have EASILY stopped him if he wanted to.
I do however disagree with the Guerrero and Marquez situation. He actually did try to stop those guys and failed to do it. Marquez just wouldn't go away. Even in the twelfth Floyd was trying to stop him but the guy just wouldn't go.
He tried to stop Guerrero too, even broke his hand on the guy's face but the guy just wouldn't go. These mexicans are touch mtfers with granite chins. He had Guerrero hurt in the second half of the fight and threw everything but the kitchen sink at the guy, just wouldn't wilt.
We've seen Floyd carry elite fighters to 12 round decisions just for the hell of it. Cotto, Marquez, and Guerrero were fights where it was obvious he could've stopped the other guy. Particularly Cotto (he was showing weak legs on check hooks) and Marquez (got dropped and was just too small).
I think he'll let Conor throw some shots early to get fans excited then go for the stoppage around the 4th or 5th. I'm not so sure he'll get him out of there quickly though. I could see a towel coming around round 8 or 9. I don't think he gets the KO.

One thing is certain on this site, guys with any references to "boxing" in their names are the least knowledgeable, biased a*sholes that frequent the threads.
You keep hating and I'm going to keep dropping knowledge. I have hope for your kind. You might actually get the balls to get in a boxing gym and learn something one day. I'm clearly not the only one who saw it that way.

You might be right the about Marquez and Guerrero fights. The work just looked so clean. I felt like he could've cranked it up a bit. But they are tough.
