From my view, Kovalev is able to do his work without of trainer. hHe did it for a last years. So, nothing has to be change.
He doesn't need a trainer to teach him new things, I agree with that, its more a few things to exploit with his opponent and make sure he is in shape.

Personally I think he should go with a Russian Trainer, I don't think he will pick up many new tricks at this stage. I think he needs a trainer who understands the Soviet style, has an understanding with Kovalev culturally, and will be on his level. Is there any good Russian trainers currently?
