Its clear as day. Then for NSAC to call that legal just throws more shade at the credibility of boxing.

And off on a tangent, just wait until August when we have to explain to people how to score a fight to show how Floyd beat Conor
I dont see a problem with what happened because I saw a fighter bending over because he didnt want keep getting hit with legal body shots. The thing is though, the last punch didn't cause the stoppage, as such there is no reason to haggle over it. Too often people are looking for officials to validate their opinion and perspective.

Regardless Kovalev was looking for a way out. He was finished and was breathing hard in that 7th round. Weeks may have saved the guys career.

I can't believe Kovalev was so out of shape. For the issues that he had in the first fight. To have his mouth open so early in the fight is crazy

I was really enjoying the fight and it was a great fight, until Weeks unnecessarily stopped it.

Mr. Bennett is comparing being punched in the nuts to being held around the head as though these indiscretions cancel each other out and then in the same breath states his belief that Ward's punches were not low. Mr Bennett - can I punch you in the nuts? oh you would rather be held around the head. The reason why Kovalev held Wards head was because Ward uses it as a constant weapon another thing that Week's ignored. Kovalev did well to avoid Wards leading head all fight that's why Ward resorted to low blows. He's a dirty fighter. The fact that Mr. Bennett is unable to see this tells me he knows nothing about boxing or he is as corrupt as I've always known boxing to be. But (sigh) I still watch it.

And as a previous comment points out Weeks had denoted low blow marker, it was actually anything below the belt line, below where the red K was on the front of Kovalev's shorts.

You should send that instagram replay to Bob Bennett's social media accounts in response to his comments to show him up for who he really is.
Kovalev stopped it himself by quitting.

also if you listen to weeks instructions he draws a line on the middle of kovs belt and says anything above here is legal. anything below is low. ward was hitting kovalev in the bottom of the belt over and over which according to his own instructions should have been low yet he ignored his own instructions.

you can clearly see Kovalev trying to push Wards hand down onto his penis

that sort of stuff really isn't on

Kovalev bent over and didn't protect himself after two legal blows.

I've already stated that I believe Ward was on his way to a win and that I did not think Kovalev would make it to see round 12.

The point is that the talk should be about Ward's epic performance and praising him for his victory. Ward and the fans deserved an emphatic, clear victory without any debating, disagreements, controversy or talk of how it ended.

But instead we have differing opinions on the ending of the fight when this could have been avoided.

If Kovalev was going to get knocked out, then let him get knocked out. At least there would be no debate about it like we have had going on since Saturday night.

Any fair minded individual looking at the tapes can see the numerous fouls from Ward thruout the fight. After the first low blow Kovalev should have pounded Wards nuts into the middle row. Ward has a reputation of being a dirty fighter and Vegas has a reputation of fixed fights. This stoppage is a perfect example of that. Let Wards nut huggers gloat but the real fans should stop purchasing these crooked events! In the end even in a loss Kovalev made millions , it's the real fans who paid to see a fairly judged sporting event who took it on the chin. Now the the crooked commission is flooding the media with the help of Ward's nut huggers on how even though the punches were below the belt they were fair and Tony Weeks immediate stoppage is perfectly appropriate! Real unbiased fans shouldn't buy this crap. If Ward can't win without fouling and without the help from vegas officials to bad.
Your choice of words seem to indicate that you are anti-Ward. It also appears that rather than respond to those who both point to the refs pre-fight instructions which stated that any punch landed on the belt line was legal or respond to those who asked you to specify which punches were illegally low, you classify them as "nuthuggers" to disqualify their comments.

You have essentially said that any body that doesn't agree with your opinion, which in my view hasn't been sufficiently detailed in any of the Ward Kovalev threads, is either biased, corrupt, or ignorant. To me, this is why boxing is losing. Fans who demand for their view of fights to validated by refs or judges in order to support the sport.

Too bad for you that Ward is half white, with a white dad.

I agree. I would also like the other folks who have differing opinions to explain their why instead of emotionally screaming foul.
