i had a heavy bag in my basement for 15 years growing up and i could hit it with bare hands and not look like a 10 year old. also... real workouts require gloves. where were lee's ? not on because his hands would look slow as molasses [they're not fast at all in this clip.]

the guy very clearly is an actor. i hate to pop all these bubbles. he's like harry greb without the 300 fights on record and wins over a dozen hall of famers. one guy you know was probably really f#cking good, adn the other you know was probably really f#cking bad, based on teh evidence.

again, point me to anything that would serve as evidence to you that bruce lee was a great fighter.

Mind over matter in everything. And the man was obsessed. If he focused on purely training for MMA, and dedicated his life to specifically be an MMA fighter, or a boxer, no doubt in my mind he'd be on the elite level, and a champ.

Yes, I'd rather praise him based on testimonies from close accomplices of his than disparage what he accomplished based on what people say on a forum, especially now he's dead - let him rest in peace. What do you accomplish by trying to destroy a cultural icon?

People **** on Bruce Lee endlessly these days because he was so hyped up, but I think what's obvious about Bruce was his exceptional will and athleticism. He had outstanding reflexes and strength for his size along with an intense desire to excel in whatever he pursued.

If he was trained from a young age for boxing or martial arts then he would've been a force to be reckoned with in his weight class. As he actually was he probably wouldn't have achieved much; everything requires a heavy amount of training and specific skill building to succeed on a world level. Bruce's natural abilities could only take him so far.

I give him proper respect and props for his actual accomplishments. Fun movies and great physical attributes. Not for fantasy fights, what if scenarios.

For the sake of argument, let's say he did what you claim in the link you posted. Beating a bunch of Chinese kids somehow translates to a bright future as an elite fighter? In boxing no less lmao

Bruce lee may have been an actor, but he also trained in the art of Wing Chun and later became the founder of the martial art- Jeet Kune Do. I do not doubt his abilities, but what I find most intriguing is his philosophy. He simply understood.

Out of all the big name cinema "kung fu fighters", Jet Li is without a doubt the most capable and accomplished. An actual REAL CHAMPION. 15 Gold medals, 1 Silver in the Chinese Wushu Championships - ALL AT AGE 12! Ritired (from fighting) at 19 as Champion.

Just look at the gif in my sig, that's Jet Li. Any idea how difficult it is to use a three section staff? The man has skills.
