Bruce Lee's ONLY ever recorded fight (VIDEO)

I've heard many people try indulge their imagination and hypothesise how Bruce Lee would do in a real fight or combat sport and although thus is just a brief glimpse, have a look and comment your thoughts. I see immense timing, speed, reflexes etc but how it would translate in MMA or a boxing match is purely up for speculation. Enjoy

looks like a demonstration / exhibition to me. bruce lee was an actor. believe me, you'd have no idea who he was if it wasn't for his movies, his untimely death, the lack of footage, and the perfect storm that allowed him to become a fighting legend without actually ever fighting anybody.

kimbo slice in his prime would manhandle this guy. absolutely manhandle him.

bruce lee on the heavybag, lul. "here, let me flail around on this thing for a while. ok i'm tired. you try."

considering Bruce Lee weighed between 140 and 150, that match up is totally unrealistic. He would need to fight someone in his weight class or the whole point of combat sport would go out of the window. Also I can't remember the dude but he and a few guys tried to pick on Bruce and he claimed that Lee kicked all their asses at the same time

Bruce Lee was never the best at anything. He was the guy who brought martial arts to the mainstream making movies and starring on a television series. Naturally, everyone assumed he was the best because they hadn't seen anything like him before.

Maybe if he were trained to box he might have done alright, but who knows? Could he take a punch? Could he learn how to strike and defend himself without using his kicks? All unanswered questions that we will never know the answer to.

with training, lee can be successful in mma/ufc matches. if bruce goes in with no mma training and just decide to fight a top mma fighter then chances are, bruce gets wrecked. and this goes for anyone, you need training to be successful.

Bruce lee is an absolute legend and could destroy any boxer no matter their size if he was in his prime. All facts.

Bruce Lee wasn't a boxer. Kind of pointless video.

Bruce Lee that trained in boxing would be a world champ, especially if he could take a punch!

He'd have prime Pacquiao's hand speed, Floyds reflexes, Rigodeaux's movement, and likely be one of the best counter punchers in the sport!

I can see him being a guy that 12 rounds would be nothing to him and he'd throw lots of punches but he wouldn't have a whole lot of power IMO!

Would be a tough match up for anyone, I only see swarmers, guys who are faster with good timing, and bigger guys beating a Bruce Lee that trained in boxing!

Bruce Lee wasn't a fighter either, so pointless discussion.
