Yes, unlike mayweather vs pac, Canelo vs ggg should deliver excitement based on their styles but it seems very convenient how Oscar ignores that the ppv main event that he just put on this Saturday (and promoted as a war & said its impossible for 2 Mexicans to make for a bad fight) absolutely ****** balls.

Why can't Oscar just stop hating? Everything about his promo his "Mayweather" ,"Mayweather" "Mayweather -Pacquiao". He sounds hurt or jealous for real. Damn.

I can't wait for this fight. I am ordering it on PPV. I just hope they put on a good undercard instead of Golden Boy's typical squash matches.

Cuadras vs. Estrada would be perfect for this card.

imagine canelo and oscar having a fall out over a disagreement and canelo ends up fighting oscar.

"That’s exactly what boxing needs from Alvarez-Golovkin as the sport attempts to overcome the damage done by Mayweather-Pacquiao among mainstream consumers." - See more at: //krikya360.com/de-la-hoy....6O0Cbhhd.dpuf

Yeah Oscar ... and another boring PPV mega fight like the one you just staged is exactly what boxing in the States didn't need!

Luckily, that shit was only watched by Mexicans, and won't have done too much damage. But I still think GGG/Canelo would have been bigger if it had been staged last year, like it should have been if you hadn't chickened out.

I gotta be honest, I don't see this fight doing over 700k buys, I don't think it's as. If as we claim it is to be or want it to be, it won't be a top 5 sporting event of the year, it's all overblown, it's big amongst our niche community of boxing fans and participants, but it doesn't permeate pop culture, the boxers themselves don't have that reach, real heads, real athletes and pundits know, but it's not the hot topic of barbershop USA, and it won't be, sorry

Plus the whole delivery was corny, WWE style, it's funny, they hated on Floyd for years for being more business than warrrior, mayweather was about the circus more than being a gladiator

But on Saturday instead of just simply announcing the fight with ggg ringside, they make a big spectacle, grand entrance and titantron video collage, like cmon dude "this is boxing, I'm not a businessman" but you are willing to be a part of the circus even tho u critique others, like it's all hypocritical bull****

                    I'm not here for it
