We saw Ward on TV getting interviewed. Kovalev blew it off then Main Events jumps on Twitter the next day trying to deflect blame.

Manix tweet says that HBO officials are furious at Ward. You think he would actually make that up? You think that HBO officials told Manix they are furious at Kovalev and not Ward and then Manix just decided to say the opposite in a tweet because "he plays favorites"? lol grow up

Because he'd already posted them. That was the most active thread. I posted the reply from Ward's side. Why hasn't he edited his post to include the statement from Ward's side?

Mannix has no credibility. The article I posted has statements from both sides. Has Mannix reached out to Ward's side for a statement?

unprofessional, need to hear from ward exactly why but it doesn't make sense because you are just hurting your own best interests. This hurts the promotion for your own damn fight that you are trying to sell to the public. If I'm these fighters I am showing up at every engagement because that effects my money. SMH

And Ward was a no show for the scheduled recording of Face Off with Max Kellerman the following day Sunday.

SMH, I understand the animosity they have towards each other but they are both only hurting themselves.

I guess they like selling only 160,000 PPV's

They can make more money this time if the fight is advertised and promoted enough.

They are shooting themselves in the foot at this point.

I agree with this but IMO the face off helps promote the fight far more than the interview on a PPV so Ward probably should've gone about this another way.
