No announcement yet.

The only thing slipping is Golovkin fans confidence in the guy.

This transcends the GGG thing. Anyone who makes any observations or analysis about a fighter on here is told they're "making excuses". It keeps the conversations ultra-dumb.
But your "observations" are expressed SOLELY IN CASE YOUR FIGHTER LOSES.

If the only time you bring up your "observation" is to preface a comment like "If Canelo wins...." then it is a DAMN EXCUSE.

    "If Brook isn't weight drained"
    "If Brook's face holds up"
Those are excuses to discredit a win. And it's ****ING PATHETIC.

I don't even have a preference between Canelo and Golovkin. I enjoy watching both of them fight. Canelo's 155 lb nonsense was pathetic and Golovkin's fake Peewee Herman 'nice guy' personality grates on me.

This doesn't change the reality that Golovkin looked flat in his last two outings against dramatically different opponents while Canelo looks far more polished than he was a couple years ago.

I've switched from seeing it as an easy walk-through for Golovkin to a close, difficult fight.

"If Brook isn't weight drained" is a valid consideration too, but it's a bit different because they're deliberately setting up a reversible condition that they can bring up after the fight.

I can't really decide Golovkin has "re-primed" if he dominates Canelo in a one-sided beatdown. My observations on his decline would simply be wrong.

Now we have Golovkin fans accusing Canelo of steroids. Since the fight has been announced they're trying their hardest to discredit Canelo, they usually try to build up Golovkins opponents because they knew they weren't a threat. Not this time, this is genuine fear for the hype job.

Golovkin is showing his age. He is still a superb fighter. I still pick him to beat Canelo in decisive fashion.
