Between already thinking this fight wasn't competitive from the jump + looking at JCC Jr in that pic I can't believe Canelo doesn't win this on cruise control like he did vs his last couple guys.

If Canelo doesn't KO JCC Jr I'd be surprised. Or JCC Jr will quit as he's always been a flakey guy so quiting on a PPV that's been deemed the battle for Mexico seems like something he'd do without a second thought.

Yup Nacho was the same man with the plan, look at my post a few back with photos of Oscar in his Forbes fight weigh in which was contracted at 150 and his next fight with Manny at 147 (which was his first and only time working with Nacho). 3lbs difference don't make you look like that if you make weight properly. There was no reason for Oscar to be that light weeks before the fight or let alone come in 2 lbs BELOW 147 the lightest he'd been in over a decade. Now you got Chavez also way too phuking light looking like a ghoul almost 2 weeks out. He just made weight at 168 with about a half lb I think to spare at the weigh in. He should not look this phuked up if he weighs 169 with 10 days to go. They mismanaged his training camp he is too light too early he should be at LEAST 175 at this point. Same thing with Oscar they were saying he was at 147 weeks before the weigh in. WTF! SMH

For as much praise as Nacho gets for being a great trainer. Besides Marquez and his brother, I can't think of any other fighters he's had that became elite under his guidance.

I totally forgot that Nacho trained Oscar for the Pacquiao fight. Amazing that he had Oscar weight drained for weeks prior to the weigh in. Seems like it's too soon as well for Chavez Jr.

I thought Memo was in charge of the weight loss. I'm sure he is, but I'm wondering if Nacho insisted on certain things for the camp and target weights.

In any event, it seems like Nacho would've learned with the De La Hoya fight not to be too light too soon.
