I don't like the fact that Jacobs seems to be very happy with his fight just because he made it a competitive fight. Almost doesn't count. A loss is still a loss and Jacobs LOST.

I thought it could've gone either way and the fight was scored fairly. Jacobs has all the right to think he won, it close. If Jacobs won, GGG would have all the right to also say he thought he won. It was close but I have no issues with the decision.

Dang dude, you fought a great fight, it was a close fight. Hold your head high, but the sooner you can move on from this, the better off you'll be.

      Move on bruh, move on.

You guys realize this is an interview where Jacobs was asked questions about the fight and he is simply answering them right? He didn't wake up, emailed boxingscene or called into Hot 97 radio station or Sway in the morning to randomly complain about the fight.

Lol, get a ****ing grip on yourselves. Let boxers answer interviewers questions in peace without the smart comments of them "still talking" like you actually believe Jacobs is actually still just talking about the fight on his own out of thin air.

Let's get real here. Jocobs definitely exceeded expectations but he didn't win and saying he doesn't count it as a loss is disrespectful.
That's not how you score damn fights ffs. A fighter could land 50 less punches in total and still win.

If he doesn't count it as a loss, let him, what's your beef? That's his attitude, he's competitive, he didn't think he lost. He's not the first boxer to say that and he won't be the last. You're sitting in your chair calling him disrespectful because he felt he won and didn't see it as a loss? Lol, come on, that's hilarious.

Jacobs has to understand that next time it is likely that there will be no Friday morning weigh in and he will not enjoy the luxury of severely outweighing the opponent. He will have to fight on the even playing field. Also GGG will read and remember all the crap you're spilling now.

I couldn't score 7 rounds for Ward so if you don't want to feel free

Usually the majority gets it right, in both Ward and Jacobs case the overwhelming majority of boxing fans voted that both GGG and Kovalev won. Kovalev doesnt really have an Agenda, Main Event doesnt have alot of influence to get their russian fighter a fair treatment vs the american hero who has James Prince, Roc Nation, Jay Z etc behind him. GGG won the Jacobs fight convincingly and still a certain fanbase got accustomed of favoritism towards the US fighter like in the Kovalev fight and think Jacobs got up from the knockdown and survived, so he should have gotten the decision as well, just for being american and being black.

I know this and he has been asked these questions a million times since the fight. He knows he's going to be quoted. I would expect a different answer from him by now like, I felt I won but now I'm just looking to get back in the ring as soon as possible, fight someone and see when I can get the Triple G rematch sometime in the future. I want to hear about what he's going to do next. Regardless of what he is being asked, I want to hear more about when we can expect him back in the ring and what his next move is. That would be better to tell the media at this point. I'm sure the media when they print these quotes as well make it seem like Jacobs is continuing to harp and complain after they ask him questions. I just would rather hear what he's doing next than to hear more about the same thing. That's all.

then, why are there headlines like this all over the internet?

Golovkin Wins Controversial UD over Jacobs.....

Immediate Reaction Gennady Golovkin vs. Daniel Jacobs, Robbery or Controversial?.....

Gennady Golovkin Barely Survives Danny Jacobs.....

Gennady Golovkin Survives Major Upset Bid, Narrowly Defeats Daniel Jacobs.....

Jacobs gave the middleweight superstar all he could handle.....

"The sellout crowd of 19,939 at the Garden greeted Golovkin with cheers when he entered the ring, but booed the decision was it was announced, believing that Jacobs had pulled off the upset."

I can see it for both guys, but I truthfully felt Danny controlled the pace of the fight and landed the better punches throughout the fight...even with the KD.
And that's what people are not understanding because Jacobs controlled the pace so much it was causing Golovkin to hesitate to set punches up and it only allowed to use the jab at points when he wasn't even trying to cut the ring off and stay on his body plus I said Golovkin was not effective enough in rounds 6 9 and 12 on my score cards and that's why I had it 9-3 but I felt Golovkin's Power wasn't there neither I'm telling you now Golovkin would of been loss if Pirog didn't suffer his injury
