Haymon/PBC is synonymous. Yes, Haymon somehow lost half a billion dollars.

... and this is somehow comforting for pro boxing, in it's present "state of affairs"...

Who said it was comforting? I'm pointing out facts. You can't flame one promoter while holding another on a pedestal. They are all greedy opportunists who live off the sweat and blood of fighters.

I don't ever see Arum putting Mikey in with Pacquiao. Arum is spiteful and hates Mikey after what went down with their contract. If anyone is going to knock Pacquiao off it will be Crawford so Arum can reap the future benefits of having the winner under contract. I can see him making the Crawford vs Garcia fight because Crawford is a nightmare matchup for Mikey too big and skilled. But last thing he wants is to see Mikey somehow beat Manny and become a supserstar off his own fighter.

i dont think he beats crawford,, i think a fighter can go up so much and that would be his fourth weight class, he will lose power and speed, crawford is a big guy,, i think mikey should stay at 135, there are big fights there with linares and flannagan, and maybe lomachenko moving up soon

of course arum is going to do that. pass the torch to his own upcoming star fighter in crawford. its what every promoter would do in that position and that includes fishnets de la hoya!

... it was only a mild form of sarcasm...

(I don't care about "promoters", I care about boxing...)

It's not just about keeping it in house to pass the torch. He also hates and resents mikey. Last thing he wants is mikey to come back and become a superstar off the back of one of his cash cows. Arum won't allow it.

Arum and pacman can make money fighting numerous other fighters that's who arum will steer Pacquiao to.
