I expect that in 3 years from now...eubank jr will be the knew Khan. Calling out everyone but never getting a decent shot at a real champion...simply because he is an entitled loudmouth kunt with delusions of grandeur. Earn your place son...dont let dad fool you into thinking you can reach the top on name recognition alone. Use JCC as an example. He is only now gaining some humility and as a result with a decent trainer he is getting his shot at making history.

I'm sure there is some level of this going on. The best thing Eubank Jr could do for himself is ditch his dad.

Although maybe he's unable to since its probably not a crazy to think he's co-dependent with his dad at this point & he'd just be a complete f#ck up without him so who knows there. Thats the thing with these sorta relationships...sometimes despite how effed up things look the guy you think should exit the relationship is propping up the guy you'd rather see on his own.

Probably not unlike the Shawn Porter & father + Danny Garcia & father situations. I think both these guys could be better fighters without their dads, but I also get a feeling without their dads involved in their careers at the level they currently are maybe those guys just don't have the same drive &/or motivation to excel.

Yeah I think Snr is another level of control freak, a true narcissist. Jnr may well not believe in himself enough to make the break. Then again he could do a Roy Jones Jnr if he takes the plunge. Imagine what would've happened if he'd never broken free of he's dad. I've got a bad feeling Chris Jnr is never going to make it though.

I do think he's skilled, and i'm eager to see how he gets on against good opposition.

I feel him and his father are shooting themselves in the foot career-wise however.
He's at the stage now to be in some higher profile fights. And i do feel like he could do well in some of those fights.

There's a ladder to be climbed in terms of quality opposition at MW..and i think he should now be climbing it.

If his team keep making demands however and seeing themselves as a bigger catch than they actually are, i think it will be hard for them to make a fight with guys who already more proven than Jr.

Eubank looks like a good fighter. I am not a fan because he is a huge bragger as is typical of many UK boxers. Other than Saunders he has never fought anybody very good.

When he gets off those power combinations, he looks great. And a very educated jab. He has all the tools but is being held back way too much. He is a serious threat at 160-168.I find all his fights exciting which says a lot.

I was a big fan of his for nostalgic reasons (watched his dad in the 90s), but turned off him when he called out Bellew and being smug with an IBO belt.

I used to like Eubank Jnr but I'm bored of his antics now. I follow him on snapchat and he spends most of his time partying in Dubai/Miami rather than focusing on his career. He should have stepped up by now and had the perfect opportunity against GGG. I fear his dad making all of his decisions is now to the detriment of his future. He is still young though and has time to turn things around.

How the **** does he have any money to do that sort of stuff? Yeah he will have made a bit of money from the ITV ppv but not enough to sustain a lifestyle like that..?

Seems like Haye 2.0 without actually making that sort of bank.
