hopkins with the broscience. a can of soda wont kill you, its obviously not good for you but its danger is being overhyped. the diet industry loves to find something to blame for all the worlds problems, first of all it was high fat, then it was salt, now its sugar. just eat less food ffs and make the majority of it healthy.

If you are eating it every day bad can happen to your body. Same with Soda. But if you drinking Coke everyday you should do some research and switch that up.

A large part of Bhop's longevity is the sacrifices he made outside the ring specifically with his diet. Tom Brady playing at elite level at 40 and also has an insane diet doesn't drink soda, any junk food. The man eats Avocado ice cream for phuk sake. While other QBs falling off in their mid 30's because their body breaking down and Brady playing into his 40's. Taking care of what you put into your body is a huge part of why.
good food that brady eats don't mean sh i t if a 300 lb lineman tackles you from the back and drives you into the ground while on top of you

        Liquid crack? Lol gtfo

Our bodies actually need both good and bad stuff for immune system.
        lol erm...

Anyway, Hopkins is spot on .Many people become addicted to sodas or fast food in egenral. In fact, the situation is so bad in some cases that when they are weened off this food, they go into withdrawal.

At one stage in my life, I was drinking 2-3 cans a day without even realising it. Luckily, because I was training, I wasn't in bad shape BUT my stamina and endurance in general was lower than it had been. Now I drink soda maybe once or twice a month.

I am however quite partial to a chocolate cake lol

That makes alot of sense, actually. He seems to be very educated and knowledgeable on this issue.

He is exactly right which is why you will never catch me drinking a full glass of soda without alot of rum in it.... soda is a recipe for premature aging !

Soda is ****ing junk. I stopped drinking that **** as a teenager over 15- years ago. That **** is garbage. Anyone who justifies drinking it is an idiot. Might as well feel a syringe with triple the amount of sugar your body needs and shoot it straight into your vein.

Don't get me wrong, if that's your "thing" the by all means, have a FEW sodas a WEEK. Use it as a treat.
If you drink soda everyday, that's extremely ignorant, and unhealthy.

If you see me drink any soda, best belive it'd got alcohol in it.

of course and same with hopkins you can have the best diet but if you don't have skill to go with it you getting knocked out and no diet can prevent a freak injury. But a lot of athletes fall off because their body naturally breaks down. You can't stop this but you can hold if off by doing the work outside the ring/field. Brady has played better in his late 30's then he ever did in his 20's and early 30's. And Hopkins was better in his 40's then he was his 30's. Also Brady like Hopkins is notoriously known for not drinking, partying, ect. That plays a huge role in keeping your body from deteriorating as well. Hopkins is someone every boxer should look up to and admire. The sacrifice he put in most guys aren't committed enough to make make

How we handle things is largely affected by our genetic make-up but, generally, bombing your system with 40+ grams of processed sugars when you go to hydrate is a poor idea unless you're participating in intense activity. Juice can be nearly as bad sometimes (always check the label).

We build tolerances and sometimes don't feel the damage we're doing. You don't know how crappy it is for you until you get away from it for a while and then drink something heavily sugared. For most people, it might be "whatever" since they aren't engaging in any physical activity or caring how they look. But, remember, a boxer's body is being pushed. Fueling it inappropriately means it's just not going to run to the best of it's potential.

Lol I guess it's a national thing then. I guess everyone calls it that.

Tell you what bro, this **** will have you feeling goooooooood. I love it... But once you wake up the headache is massive.

Tbh the only reason why I haven't drank it anymore is cause once I moved back to FL I couldn't find the blue raspberry one. It's the only one I like but everyone has different taste.

Live a little bh, knock yourself out. You've retired now so deserve a little cheesecake or pizza.
A little soda is OK. But some drink litres of it a day. Or regularly drink it a can everyday. Once in a while is OK.
