    Just a thought
Floyd's skill and accomplishments in the ring can't be questioned...but...

What would never be found in the same sentence as Floyd's name?

    For example:
-A sentence with Floyd's name and humility and/or modesty in it.
    -Floyds name with principled
    -Floyds name with philanthropy
    -Floyds name with selflessness
    The list goes on......

He fought he best of the best of his era thru 5 divisions and love or hate him he was an artist in the ring
when did he fight them? for people with standards far too late. if you just look at boxing as a financial scheme to earn money then yes floyd did brilliant. if you look at it as a competitive sport....meh he didnt do so great.

Honestly I hate him for the domestic abuse in front of his own kids, continuing to make out that victim is a liar because she won't release an image of her battered face, which would further upset her kids.

I quite liked him before I heard about that, but anyone who ignores that but praises the rest of his personality outside the ring is messed up.

Also, some people are comparing his personality to Ali. Floyd mainly comes across creepy and lame to me nowadays. Ali always tried to entertain even to the end, but Floyd's spent so much time around yes men it's like he can't be bothered anymore. How many times has he made you laugh in the last few years?

Why do people hate Floyd so much?

Because he badly damaged the sport and doesn´t even care about it. It was all about money and self-adulation from the get-go.

The same reason people sht on GGG. Because he has not done the things to prove he's as good as they say he is.

thats a good way of putting it. he saw that he could use his built in american fanbase and hype to make big money. he had to take some calculated risks of course but he was never trying to prove he was the best apart from saying it constantly. when he saw an easy mark he took him down, when he saw a dangerous guy he avoided them(until less dangerous) not the kind of thing im looking for in sport but unfortunately boxing is extremely flawed.

Can't believe this is even a question, but sometimes you just consider the source.

1- Confidence is one thing, but he is arrogant and obnoxious
2- Delusional if he truly believes he is TBE
3- His fans are bigger ******s than he is
4- The whole money persona is just classless and in poor taste
                5- He is a hypocrite
6- He abuses women and children, and then makes excuses for his behavior
7- He is disrespectful of his opponents and other boxers
8- He has adopted a boring style of clinch, run, jab, right hand--boring fighter overall
9- He routinely fights below his skill level, has avoided several dangerous opponents while climbing up in weight and waited to fight certain fighters until they were past their prime
10- He has left his impact on the sport which is now "the business of boxing" which means many of the biggest fights don't get made while everyone thinks they are the A side now.
11- Started an anti-doping and random testing campaign and then was caught with an illegal IV claiming rehydration. Cheated, and has USADA in his pocket.
                12- He is a racist

Daily reminder: Floyd never fought a great fighter in his prime.

Why does Boxingscene allow Larry to continue to write why do people hate Floyd in 100 different ways. I hear Al Sharpton is looking for an Apprentice race baiter
