    Shut your trap, gonzo

The Duran fight was an 1 point victory only because Duran took his foot off the gas the last 2 rds, knowing he had it in the bag ( he must have known of the scorecards).
    Don't believe me?
Watch the tape, it's free on YT

Leonard won the 7 and 8, but was losing on all 3 scorecards when he knocked out Hearns

    So watcha saying ?

Leonard rematch with Duran was a joke, Duran should never have climbed in that ring in his condition, and even then, Leonard played it safe and scared

Foh leanord took Duran in his own style the first fight and got the better of him and was screwed only cause he didn't fight his way. Second fight exposed Duran as one dimensional.

Would have never guessed that the great Marvin Hagler had the vocabulary of an 80's teenage blond.

He got battered son, and you could see it on the expression on his face throughout the fight

I've never seen this expression again on Leonard while fighting
He was almost crying during the post fight announcement

Leonard won 6,7,8 ...6 and 7 he battered hearns from corner to corner and those rounds should have been scored 10-8.....he battered hearns in round 13 and knocked him through the ropes 2 times...one was a knockdown , leonard was not one time hurt in the fight and all the big rounds were won by leonard...add round 14 which wouod have been a 10-8 round its then an even fight.....gumbo all your hear say of what might have happened is you gumbo living in dream world and hoping...i don't even watch the 3rd fight of leoanrd duran because they were a shadow of what they were in 1980.....leonard lost by a round and won the 13,14,15 and made that first fight razor close...as what A.K said in the rematch leonard boxed his ears off....know your inowledge gumbo

Long list of other fighters that done the same.

Happen back then, happens today. Nothing new.
How did I know some jackass would bring up Golovkin?

I'd explain why you're wrong but this isn't the thread for it.

                  It was a 20x20 ring.

                  Try again.

Too bad we never got the rematch. I believe he would've boxed southpaw the whole fight and got the W. But leonard was the master of playing promoter games. Just look at the Aaron Pryor situation years before.

Wrong. Hagler only started having success once Leonard slowed down and became more stationary and less active in the second half of the fight. And Hagler boxing out of an orthodox stance had never been an issue before because he was a natural switch-hitter.

And what Aaron Pryor situation? The one where Pryor ducked two offers to fight Leonard?

                    I don't believe so. I'm sure you'd know because you're a real boxing fan.
