De La Hoya going to offer a percentage split, $15 mil off the table for Golovkin

Can y'all see how cunning and shrewd of a business shark Oscar De La Hoya is? He looks for every little advantage in his favor so he can exploit it.
For example: Saying that Golovkin cannot afford to have a interim fight in his hometown in June, because it would interfere with the promotion, of the tentatively agreed upon fight, in September which is totally ludicrous.
He made up every excuse in the book for GGG to not take a tuneup fight. From everything to "He could get cut, he could get dropped, he could get beat to you can hurt a hand".
The truth is Oscar sees a weakness vulnerability now where he believes that his fighter can exploit. He knows that Gennady is coming off the worst showing of his career and wants Canelo to capitalize on it as soon as possible.Last edited by champion4ever; 03-23-2017, 07:22 PM.

New numbers are out showing GGGs draw and star power are less so now new offer will reflect that. And that number could fall more after Chavez does almost 1m ppv. Tom needs to stop hiding contracts from GGG the earlier he signs the better.

GBP can offer any number they want in January for a fight in September when they know that GGG isn't going to sign and then sit out from March to September.
They know he's trying to fight 3 or 4 times this year.
Keeping GGG inactive is a tactic now, like Jacobs did by not fighting in December and you dumb f@gg0ts cheered him for it.
They want to keep him inactive. They need every single advantage they can get for lil Saul.
That's where we are now. Fans want fighters to fight less lol. Complete f@gg0try

The less GGG fights the more rust he gets. De La Hoya knows this that is why he wants Gennady to bypass a title unification bout in his hometown by pressuring his promoter to forgo it in order to give his fighter an unfair edge and advantage.
It just may be me but I don't see this fight happening in 2017. I might be wrong but as long as Oscar continues on this path of gamesmanship the fight very well may not happen until sometime in early 2018.
It wouldn't be in the least surprised, if we'll see a Golovkin/Jacobs rematch in 2017 before a Golovkin/Canelo bout in 2017 because his handlers want to keep Golovkin fighting schedule active.

They will never let the diva fight GGG. There is going to be some shady schitwith the contract not making its way over to the GGG camp or something. Force him to miss the timing for a June fight, then after GGG signs, the diva won't sign and then they'll go after BJS. If GGG has all the belts, what paper champ is the diva going to fight? All his duck options are gone at that point.
