Why did Golovkin head hunt so much? What would have happened if he had gone to the body more? Could he have stopped Jacobs?

His corner was terrible. His greatest success came when attacking the body. But they told him to keep jabbing and hunting for a KO.

He just couldn't adapt, not sure if that was due to Jacobs switching between southpaw.. at one point I was thinking Jacobs was on fighting with one hand, I thought he must have hurt or broke his right hand. GGG showed a lot of negatives enough to get other fighters now thinking he is vulnerable. So maybe we shall see him against better fighters soon.

This is a bad habit I've noticed for a couple years now. His dedicated body work has vanished. There were so many moments where GGG used to always throw in the left hook to the body. He hasn't committed like he used to for a few fights now, though.

It was a better strategy to work off the jab and avoid going to the body too much where he would have been vulnerable to getting clipped clean with one of Jacobs quick right uppercuts.
