if you gave any of the first 3 rounds to GGG your opinion doesn't matter.. GGG did absolutely nothing. he was showing DJ crazy respect just posturing while Danny did all the fighting and scoring. DJ started 3-0. if you debate that there's no need to proceed.

I'll say it again.. if body punching counts there is no way GGG won period. but I'm convinced now that body work doesn't mean **** to judges. GGG was strictly head hunting. DJ mixed it up, he did damage dowmstairs. who cares though. I'm not counting body blows no more. I'm gonna score fights like the amateurs from now on.. only head shots matter.

It's absolutely nuts. In the arena, people were commending Danny for fighting with a lot of heart but no-one thought he won. People were walking out before the result was read because everyone agreed Golovkin won

Just because Golovkin looked flat doesn't mean he didn't win the rounds. He controlled rounds with his jab, he had the better defence, he finished better, he hurt Danny plenty of times.

It really shows how swayed people are by commentary - and their own expectations of how the fight SHOULD go.
