There is likely no way out when it comes to golovkin..he will beat you slowly if he can....or he will hurt you if he has to...it only usually takes him about 3 rounds to decide which it is going to be and everybody watching knows when the decision has been made.
That is textbook nutt hugging right there.

    Bravo to you ma'am...

Short post prefaced by the fact that I like and am rooting for Jacobs.

Golovkin has tasted and was virtually unaffected by David Lemieux's power. He obviously has exceptional power, far superior to Danny's( rewatch the Sergio mora fight if you disagree). He can't stop him and is unlikely to hurt ggg.

He could theoretically win using a Floyd Canelo template. But as the defensive skill and speed advantage Floyd had over canelo were much greater to what danny has, he will not be able to pot shot and score(or dance/run and score). Even if he uses this only theoretical strategy for victory, he will eventually get caught and hurt and the fight will turn at that moment. Golovkin's jab erases any possibility the strategy could work, no matter how flawlessly danny is able to box. Golovkin Ko in rounds 4-7...
It... Just... Doesn't... Work... Like that...

Jacobs may not drop or hurt Golovkin but it won't have anything to do with what you just said.

Just because X fighter wasn't able to drop or hurt Y fighter it doesn't mean that Z fighter can't do it to Y fighter.

Going by the logic bolded, Bradley should had never been able to drop Peterson. Bradley who is considered feather fisted by a lot of people here was able to drop Peterson but Garcia who hits harder couldn't do it. Does that mean Bradley hits harder than Garcia?

Pretty much why nobody takes you seriously.

Back to the thread, I disagree with you. Lemieux was a power puncher. He was outboxed and never landed anything flush. To say that Golovkin was unaffected by Lemieux' power is false. He ate a few shots, but not many, and absolutely none of them flush with power behind them.

Danny is 5 times the athlete Lemieux is. He also is taller and has a reach advantage, so Golovkin shouldn't be able to outjab him easily. Not giving Jacobs at least a puncher's chance is absolutely nuts. Dude is good, and has gotten better over the years. He also has an underrated chin and defense. Getting laid out by Pirog's beautiful shot doesn't make a weak chin. In most other fights, Danny's main problem is that when he sees his opponent in trouble, he starts unloading and disregarding defense. That's how he got caught against Mora. That happens to anyone, and it wont happen against Golovkin. Danny will not expose himself against Golovkin no matter what, and he wont get caught.

Similar example would be Fonfara. He lasted 12 with one of the biggest punchers in the division in Stevenson, but got knocked out by Smith when he thought he had him in trouble on the ropes. Smith threw a blind shot and caught him.

I wasn't providing a logical proof. Yes, the fight won't be determined by my opinion or the fights I referenced or my analysis ... is that your point? Sorry that I'm not considering if danny hits him with a flush 3 punch combo that ggg never saw. Do you understand what probability is? past performance and outcomes are important. PREDICTIONS DO WORK LIKE THAT. Ggg will vindicate my *flawed opinion Doubt he even gets buzzed once Saturday.

For the record I hope danny drops him. It would be so unbelievable to my eyes, however, that they wouldn't register to my brain to process it, like when natives couldnt see the first ships coming to shore from across the Atlantic. ( Science people said that may have been a thing)

I commend jacobs for taking the fight and actually being one of the top guys that actually had the balls do step in there with GGG. But i think he will get destroyed badly.

He actually came with no intention to box in that fight from what abel and he says. He has said before and fter the fight he was just trying to knock brook out he didnt want to take his time and box. Thats why he was so reckless in that fight.

How many times had Geale, Murray, Macklin, Wade, Monroe, Brook, Adama and Ishida been stopped before they fought GGG ? Manufacture a number for me.

Murray, Geale, Stevens, Lemiuex, Rosado, Monroe and even Brook and Macklin are all superior guys to Caleb traux, which is what Jacobs record consists of. Jacobs record is abysmal besides the Quillin win. Golovkin has been ko'ing top ten guys, durable guys, Jacobs has fought nobody but Quillin, that's his record, that's where it begins and ends. Not comparable.
