You know what I want to see???

Both Jacobs and Chavez J. to win by KO!

And then we can have 1000's of post about...

    Who had the better loss.
    Who lasted longer.
    Who had the tougher opponent
    but, but, but

No matter what both sides are going to continue to argue until there way past retirement.
    hahahahahaha!!!!!

It's the same situation Jacobs just found himself in as the challenger. I don't believe Canelo doesn't want to fight, I just think Oscar wants to be greedy and pay off that lawsuit they both lost at the expense of everyone else.
That's one thing EVERYONE should be able to agree on.

Just like this fight??? It should be in Texas at Jerry's World. Where they can set attendance records and such. But no it's in Vegas with the SUIT Corporate Casino's. You know I can't even buy the cheap tickets??? They said they released them but when I try buying them they won't let me??? I know exactly what these greedy bastards are doing.

I agree with you on sick of two years of this **** i'm expecting at least one upset in these two bouts. Personally i'm rooting for Chavez and have since the fight was announced, he looked trim and if he is actually motivate to finally fight shh is going to be interesting because beyond landing something nasty to the body I don't see Canelo having the power to hurt him to the head but we'll see. If it goes to the cards i'm not sure Canelo gets favorable cards this time around considering Suliman and Sr's relationship.

We've seen a ton of fighter hit the pinnacle and run into the wrong punch, hence fighters jumping at chances to make the most money possible. Canelo is a small boxer who carries alot of physical weight, as he gets older cutting weight is going to get harder and he's going to transition into becoming the smaller man in the ring.
I have been watching boxing all my life and long enough to know once you have an established name you can get paid off that for years. Canelo is not undefeated so even if he were to lose a fight or two in the next few years he will still have the drawing power to make fights that benefit him weight wise. ODL lost pretty much all of his big fights but he was still cashing checks until his mid 30's.
Like I said, leverage is all about options. In the short term or long term Canelo has options, BBB side doesn't. Based on your argument BBB side should be running to take that offer as nothing is guaranteed. He holds out for more he could get old overnight, we have seen it happen to many fighters once they hit their mid 30's. Jacobs could beat him and that offer goes away. You just made a better argument for BBB side taking what's offered because GBP and Canelo have been pretty clear that its take it or leave.

I had to drop 9 benjamins for one seat to the Jacobs vs Golovkin fight.

And I'm FROM Vegas,Nv but even I know it doesn't belong here...Just like Broner vs. Porter. TWO Ohio guys fighting in Vegas???? WTF? A Cincinnati Boxer and an Akron Boxer fighting in Vegas over Ohio???

He has a name but everyone has a name until they get clobbered and put to sleep. Chavez Jr was the biggest name out of mexico for a while, see what happened after the Martinez fight. Pacquaio was right there with Floyd for a while, his star power has never fully recovered from the Marquez fight. So yeah shhh happens especially when you transition from being the bigger of the two fighters to being the smaller guy. We'll see though.

I don't expect to win and waiting until I see Chavez on the scales but I'm gonna put some $$$ on him at 8-1 or 10-1 odds. That's a lot of size if healthy.
