It would be a much different fight. And considering Floyd's age and the layoff he has had, I think Canelo could win. He is a much better fighter since that loss. His footwork and defense are much better and he puts combination together with more consistency. Plus I think he would realize he would need to be much more aggressive early on.
Floyd would be the favorite but it would not be as one sided as the first fight for sure.

Floyd and Oscar in the same age range and Canelo is 26 it is already bad enough that they scared to let him fight a 34 year old smaller GGG.... I think Floyd could still white wash Canelo at 153 even at 40. at 160 of course it's a different story at the end of the day Floyd is a natural lightweight we should never lose sight of that..

There isn't a planet on which Canelo could ever beat Floyd.

If they fought again, what would the excuse be? They can't use "He wasn't ready" or "This wasn't a loss, it was a learning experience", etc.

I would actually look forward to the rematch happening, if only to hear what kind of hilarious slogan Canelo would say with a mean mug on his face.
