Pretty lame and shady of GBP, but Haymon and Schaefer essentially conspired to steal all of GBP's fighters when De La Hoya was on a coke binge.
Pretty funny how some people have a problem with shadiness from GBP but not from Haymon.
2. Ring ****izine used to be the most important source for boxing news next to ESPN. Integrity *used to* matter in journalism.
3. This is a campaign to deliberately mislead fans, that has the effect of hurting the fighters in the end, for the personal gain of Oscar and GBP.
4. It was the Al Haymon management contract that dissolved those fighters relationship with GBP (one which GBP was eventually compensated over $10 million for). If you followed the case you'd see that it wasn't done behind the scenes at all. It was very much out in the open. Oscar just wasn't paying attention.

We get that you want PBC to fail. What many don't understand is why you don't want to have access to more boxing programming. Then again, reading your posts, its clear why.

A huge article blaming "boxings powers" and "anti haymon" media for pbc and haymons downfall.
Haymon tried to put different fighters, on different channels, at different times, with different promoters, at different venues, and he he wonders why no one is watching.
This article is a ridiculous weak attempt to spin blame on others for showtimes and haymons recent ratings failure.
Haymon and Showtime have done nothing to build their brands or the brands of their fighters, that's why no one is tuning in.

Jake Donovan doing some dirty work with the approved Headline from Thomas Hauser. Of course, depending on comprehension, those against PBC or Haymon somewhat win with ''Black Hitler'' as if it's now the standard.
Jake Donovan should make it less obvious with his affiliations. I mean they even put Haymon's picture whereas they could've just used the PBC logos consistently in various forms.
Of course we read these similar articles from Hauser before...
NSB could be less con****uous with affiliations to Hauser. Of course, Hauser's never written anything against PBC nor has Jake's membership approval at BWAA on check..

Didn't say anything about objecting to access to free boxing. I was responding to your crap about HBO only wanting cab drivers from Haymon. Haymon can't even make his top fighters fight each other, let alone send them over to HBO. Lara, Andrade, Williams, Jermell, Jermall. Only one fight in years.

Some of this is pretty unpersuasive, especially the generalizing of the "media" of which this writer is a member of and this website is a part of.
I do agree with this line...though it could be said of pro-Haymon media members just as much as anti-Haymon media members....
Somewhere along the way, writers have chosen to take up the cause of the promoter rather than the athlete.Last edited by Mitchell Kane; 01-24-2017, 02:00 PM.
