All ex-Soviet fighters just had some luck, they weren't supposed to be in pro boxing

Because probably more than 70% of boxing talent pool in ex-Soviet countries doesn't even turn pro. They're not able to. So how some of you guys talk that we take over the boxing if it's less than the half of our talents in pros?

Provodnikov and Kovalev were saying the same thing in their interviews, American promoters are not willing to sign these "Russians" and develop their careers. They know these "robots" (that's how you call us, since the Cold War you got used to this stereotype of emotionless "soviets" who you probably never met, these emigrants in States doesn't count) doesn't bring any money and can't attract fans

Look at Beterbiev, he became Al Haymon's bodyguard. His career won't be going nowhere

And there's a lot of amazing amateur talents here but they don't turn pro because they're not getting good offers from promoters who's not interested

Golovkin, Kovalev, Lomachenko and even Klitschko, they're all got luck at some points of their careers and they weren't supposed to make any noise in the boxing world in the first place

Klitschko developed their careers in Europe, same with Golovkin.

Kovalev was fighting for free for half of his pro career, he said that american promoters were refusing to sign him because "they already had some russian fighters under their wings" so he was thinking about leaving pro boxing

Lomachenko got signed just because of his exceptional amateur record and that's why he got in the position where he could get a good contract and possibility to demand a title shoot from Bob Arum as soon as possible

I just don't like this nationalist agenda

The "ex-Soviet boxing school" was amateur-oriented...

... There were some "good products" of that school who previously turned pro and did well enough -- such as Kostia Tsyiu, Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko, Dimitry Pirog, a.s.o... but they weren't U.S. based...

      Totally agree.
Kovalev had a ton of luck multiple times to be where he is now. Hundreds of other russians did not have that luck.
But this can be easily explained - professional boxing is not a sport but a show business.
If a boxer doesn't have a fanbase (russian boxers do not have that much fans - boxing is not that popular in Russia, but it's growing). And this small fanbase do not purchase PPV

Here's the offer for you, for every Russian boxer who got caught cheating you can name, I'll name American fighter who's juicing as well, and the person who won't be able to continue is going to give all points to the winner. Don't back down

You can start with Russian boxers and name Roy Jones Jr. first

Well that's not fair considering our government did not fund programs intended to bypass drugs testing or gave our athletes c***tails for performance-enhancing drugs like the Russians...Imagine everything we could got away with...shame.

                  Ha ha, wait

We talk about pro boxing now

You're bringing up government-sponsored programs and all that **** to the conversation about pro boxing

Most of these Russian fighters boxing in America

So Russian government helps these Russian pro boxers to get away with cheating in States, and your fighters couldn't get away with same **** in your own country?

                  Okay

Like I've said, for every Russian drug user like Roy Jones, you have Holyfield, James Toney or even Tyson

Well...like you said in your initial post there are no professional Eastern-Euro boxers so by default American and other countries including GB would automatically have a higher count...in addition it think bringing up the armature system is relevant : guys like Usyk,Loma,Kovalev all participated in them and won prominent tournaments propelling their careers with favor into the pros as many of them get world title fights in their first few professional bouts and I suspect they might of been doping based off recent revelations ; exposing the Russian.
