It's a great way to hop on a cycle or two.

Meanwhile in the real world doping is rife, easy and hard to catch. We should suspect ALL athletes of doping. You do not even need to see contributory evidence such as unexplained IV, working with known PED enablers (Conte, Memo, Balco labs), changes in appearance, size and many other indicators to understand that there is widespread usage. PEDs are not magic and if used in a focussed manner can provide lots of advantages without showing size gain. They are particularly effective for muscle growth but their primary MO is to promote recovery which allows much more intensive training. If you train for speed and stamina whilst using steroids you will increase speed and stamina far quicker than unassisted with little or no muscle mass gain.
Only poorly advised users get caught under the current rules. All the big drug cheats were caught well after the events they were competing in because they were passing the majority of the drugs tests.
Year round, unpredictable testing protocols are the only way to clean up sport.
Is Andre Ward using? Probably. Same as everyone else. He's a great fighter and it doesn't take away from him more than anyone else.
It's just part of pro sports.
