      Chavez wasn't getting embarrassed? Have you seen that fight? He took an awful beating for 11 rounds. Way beyond anything Walters ever had to deal with.

He was constantly turned and beaten to the punch, had his right hand completely taken away from him, and was getting hit with increasingly regularity as the fight wore on. Even he said that he barely made it out of the 7th round. He says that fight would have went differently if he wasn't so inactive, but I honestly don't believe him.
        Ohh no DOUBT about it! If they fought 100 times Loma would win all 100. I'm beginning to think Walters is fools gold?? I mean boxing is the LAST sport you wan to be in when you have NO HEART! When the going gets tough in boxing, boxers usually reach down inside and find out what their TRULY made of...You take away Walters right hook and he will fold like a cheap suit.

        And also seeing Donaire's last few fights that KO win isn't looking soo good anymore.

          they did the same with matthysse lol lucas had a fucked up eye due to a head-butt and postol was clinching none stop yet what walters did was reasonable

            Walters must not realize that they showed video from the corner of HIM quitting, and not his corner throwing in the towel.

            You know... he kinda got up and told Tony Weeks he didn't want to fight anymore.

            What is he talking about "of course I wanted to continue, but I have to respect my corner for stopping it."

              Walters needs to stick with beating on 126lbers. He's not going to be able to bully 130-135lb boxers.

                  To be fair, there is a big difference between taking a beating in war where you have a chance and are giving something back. Its completely different to take a beating when you are also being humiliated skill wise, and clowned on in the ring, and know there is nothing you can do about it.

                  Still doesn't justify quitting. If you are mentally broken like that, atleast come out for the next round and let him catch you with something big and go down so it looks like you went out on your shield.

                  But quitting... Thats bad...

                  The only fighter I can recall that came back from quitting was Duran. But Duran had already proved himself to be one of the baddest mofo's on the planet before that. So he got some wiggle room.

                      The no mas fights gets blown out of proportion, Duran wanted to fight and Leonard didn't want to, Leonard was scared s h i t less of Duran.

                      Walters gave up because he was outclassed and on the verge of getting knocked out.
