On a good day I'd give Ward 6 rounds. That dude didn't beat Kov, politics did.

In political science, we studied the impact of politics on international sports. Before this fight, many seen this as the Russian versus the American.

This was nothing short fav ****ing robbery, and everyone knows it, despite what they say. If they're honest with themselves, they know Kov beat the crap out of Ward, not in just number of rounds, plus physically beat him.

Ward looked every bit a man defeated when the bell rung.

Because he got his azz beat, it's not likely he'll be looking to quickly get back into the ring with Kov.

If you think you're going to impress anyone with how closed-minded and intolerant you are, you're mistaken. There's a reason that there's been numerous columns, written by people who know more about the sport than you, stating that it was not a robbery. A close decision. A debatable decision. No "robbery".

If you can't allow yourself to read and understand the various professional writer's explanations of how it could be a Ward fight, then don't bother me with a conversation. There's really nothing I can say to a closed mind.

Or the "do or say anything to justify Ward winning including creating new criteria for fight judging" cone.
Of course when application is not convenient to agenda, he wont consider using this revolutionary "new criteria".

And yet, that stiff russian was having his way with Ward on the outside. Making him resort to near non-existant body shots and revolutionary new "criteria" in order to "win".

Stop creating new bull**** to try cover for the corruption of the judges. They already robbed Perez right before Kovalev-Ward or did you miss that too? As for compubox they counted a lot of Ward's pitty pat shots inside, that don't mean ****. You score rounds based on clean, effective punches... isn't that how Floyd got the decision vs Maidana? But now suddenly you guys want to change it back and give more weight to dirty inside fighting, since the foreigner was the one landing the clean head shots this time.

I had Kovalev by a point but I wouldn't call this one a robbery.

I can't say I'm surprised reading some of the posts on these threads. Many theories will keep coming up, I'm just waiting for the one that includes *****.

Many posters on here profess to being unbiased yet you find no evidence to affirm such.

yeah if you bent over bakwards to give ward every single somewhat close round you could have him winning by a point and apparently thats what this scoring cone is? its a way to justify bad decisions because soem people are biased/incompetent and can't score so we have to include their bias and incompetence into some sort of scoring cone? why cater to them? just look at the 3 dummies who gave ward round 10. where was their scoring cone? on their head with the word dunce written on it?

OMG is your mind ever twisted, friend. Your last sentence says it all, and is quite apropos... only if it is directed at YOU instead... 'There's really nothing I can say to a closed mind.' Because like I said earlier, this fight has all the markings of a fix. It's just painfully obvious.
