    2) you have no idea what happened during that lawsuit..... FACT: Ward is a reasonable person..... Goosen most likely had him locked in, and wasn't prepared to work with Ward for their future MUTUAL benefit...... just like most greedy promoters

good businessmen realize the importance of a symbiotic relationship..... but "good" promoters look for opportunities to take advantage of their fighter so that they can benefit financially when it comes to splitting the money

any promoter who refuses to adjust financial terms for this reason..... "because I got you locked in, b1tch".... will..... a) end up making nothing if that fighter is prepared to stick to his guns..... b) will lose that fighter at the very first opportunity..... so fk their greedy ass

    3) don't take life/me so seriously, you left yourself wide open for that..... I never wished any harm on Goossen during that lawsuit, my off-handed comment was made to you, not Goosen

So boxing needs more Sven Ottke like stay-at-home fighters with styles that makes eyes bleed?

Fortunately the headline is a bad bad match for the article.

and so did the courts (multiple times), so did it ever occur to your pea brain that maybe, just maybe, Goossen hadnt done anything wrong?

of course not, because your mind isnt fully developed and all you can see is "black fighter = correct, white promoter = wrong"......

and feel free to put me on ignore. You bring nothing of value to any conversation

Call me old fashioned, but I think that if you have a contract, you honour it. That was also the way the court saw it as well on all 3 occasions Ward had it tried.

Wade was a mandatory, Brook was a late substitution for Eubank Jnr, and it turned out to be one hell of a fight.

If Kovalev vs Ward is as exciting, and gets as much attention and praise from the kind of casual sports fans boxing needs to win back, that will be great for the sport.

No doubt he will, if he can no longer make 160, like Ward when he couldn't make 168.

I hope that goes both ways. Because Bob Arum doesn't. If you have 1-2 fight left and refuse to sign an extension he won't let you get fights to complete the terms.
