      NO, he very much doesn't.

Canelo Saunders is a bigger fight seeing as BJS brings the UK money with him.

      Bumlovkin, OTOH, brings 97K PPVs.

Alvarez doesn't need the Triple Duck..

This fight will make GGG more than he will make in the rest of his career for any single fight. He can't be mugged off in a fight like this.

Same way that I doubt Kov has been mugged off in the Ward fight PPV splits.

Please name these mystery 40 year old Russians who are still competing at the top level.

          Don't worry, I'll wait..

Saunders doesnt bring the UK money.

He fights on Boxnation and has limited exposure.

Pacquiao and Cotto are both big PPV draws on their own.

How many PPVs did Bumlovkin sell in his last appearance on US PPV TV?

Like I said, Alvarez Pacquiao and Alvarez Cotto II are bigger money fights than Alvarez Bumlovkin. It really aint even close...

I understand your point. However, and i feel strongly about this, look at what Floyd and Kov did. Each got screwed by ODH/Cleverly when it came to money. They took the fights, won, and took off from there.

In fairness, I argued Manny should've taken the $40 mil no ppv offer. he didn't and made about 2 1/2 times that so I was wrong.

IMO it comes down to what is more important. If GGG wants to win, he takes the fight now for less money like Floyd and Kov. If he wants to get paid, he waits and maybe gets more, but gets older and maybe takes punishment that reduces his chances of winning.

Isn't Boxnation shown on UK television?

Yes but it isnt big outside of hardcore boxing fans (which isnt a big fanbase, same as america)

The 'Uk money' you were talking about mostly comes from Sky Sports who have huge traction with football (soccer) fans and get the casuals hyped for almost every fight they put on

Bumlovkin doesn't have the luxury of playing the waiting game, IMO. He'll be *35* - or a month or two short of it - by the time he gets in the ring again. His sell by date swiftly approaches. They need to take the deal for Sept 2017 and just fight a couple of soft touches until then. Bumlovkin should stay away from Jacobs - he potentially spoils the big payday...
