    He did 225 -250 max.

GGG vs eubank jr would do that in the uk alone.

The fight is 50/50 60/40 at worse for golovkin money split wise now.

Golovkin was offered a flat fee by Oscar. What a joke.

I realize he was only promoting, but this was ODLH's outlook prior to the fight. Somehow I doubt he is all that happy with 250-300k buys.

“We really can’t say how many pay-per-views it’s going to sell, but we’re expecting a big number,?De La Hoya said earlier today in his media conference call with Canelo. “We strongly feel that Canelo’s star power is only growing, and as we get closer to the fight we will have a better indication. But we always gage our numbers by how many tickets we’re selling in the arena and we’re out-pacing Manny Pacquiao ticket sales, so we expect a strong number.?

300K for a no name fighter is a solid number. But Golden Boy needs to use this as a benchmark.

They usually make good pay per view cards but this was a huge disappointment.

Invest on the undercard and make a stronger main event for us fans,

It was no where near 300k. Even the promoter is saying "close to" Every single twitter insider says the real number is 200-225k. That is the real number.

sorry, i think it was 17 pounds, not dollars.

Yeah.. he expected 'more than Cotto' against Khan, now he's happy with less than 300k. The live gate saved him.

Only sissies (Brits) use words like pounds and notes in regards to money. I'm American and I'll proudly say that currency equals 15 dollars, and their isn't a darn thing you can do about it. We use pounds as it relates to weight and we write notes. The way god intended, the end.

You're spot on, Floyd & Manny got the market at it's peak, only Floyd would be able to get over 500,000 buys with a marquee name. 300,000 buys at 60 bucks a pop is still like 18 million in revenue, who would not be happy with that?!
