He's not that big a star, facts are that nobody is selling anymore after that Pac-Mayweather debacle. The casuals said fk this, I'll just order an UFC PPV instead and get guaranteed action with 2 top level contenders instead of watching so called "stars" fight nobodies..
MMA won. Mayweather-Pac did more for MMA than Dana White.

That's because the value of the peso is no bueno in America. The boarder jumpers and feces drinkers have made sure of that.

Eh, not really. You are comparing Golovkin's very first PPV on a random date against someone not well known in the US, to Canelo's, I believe 5th PPV performance (which included a major introduction to casuals via Mayweather) on a major Mexican holiday weekend. You also have larger marketing costs, purses, etc. So, no, not too much better than Golovkin's in the end. And If you are standing by GGG doing 97k, then you also have to assume Canelo's true # was about 200k. Those are the lowest numbers of both that have been reported.

"Close to 300k"... Which means around 250k for the so called #1 superstar of boxing!! Pathetic for the #1 Mexican fighter on Mexican Independence Weekend... Keep Duckn Ggg and cherry picking easy fights and your next fight will do " close" 50k!!!

Could have been way more than 300k If you fought the guy you lot were saying you want to fight after Khan I heard loads of people saying they weren't gonna buy this one on forums, youtube videos in person I dunno how powerful the fanbase Canelo is but could he pull a Floyd Mayweather number for fighting a Berto-esque type of fighter?
I have my doubts but he certainly is more fun to watch than Floyd I just have my doubts on such a high number for a trash fight.

Oscar's definition of 'close to 300,000 pay-per-view buys' is 150,000 PPV buys.
