as for his boxing skill-obviously he is going to box better when in with guys that suck. when he is in witha good boxer, he didn't box as well. that is expected, no different than Canelo boxing beautifully in with some but looked terrible in with Floyd.
Self promotion? thats what GGG did when he said his dream fight was floyd at 154. i
If you allowe GGG a pass for things he's said because he was answering a question in an interview, the same should be extended here.

But, when you're promoting a Kovalev fight and you get asked every day about Golovkin faking a call-out, you are inevitably going to get tired of it and just dish some real-talk. The guy tried to be tasteful about it for a long time but Sanchez just kept yapping, making up lies.
Real talk is that is that all these talks were going on while ward was testing the waters and building himself into a light heavyweight.
All props to ward though, he played the pr perfectly. Pretending to negotiate with GGG when he can't make 168 and hasn't fought in 2 years, to get his name back in the spotlight with the end game always being to face Kovalev instead, at a weight he is comfortable at.
He won his olympic gold medal at 178lb after all.
He gets not hate from me for that. I love him as a fighter. I think he will take Kovalev to school. But the whole GGG situation is silly to still be stewing on.
Maybe it gets to him that people say he was ducking GGG, when in reality its never a fight that he could have even made 168 for, much less 164.
He already saw what draining yourself did to Dawson, Ward is smart enough to know that when making the weight becomes too much of an ask, you need to move up.

Stop talking Andre, who are you to criticise others. in danger of leaving a legacy as the most boring boxer of all time.

more babble
a couple of things regarding wards recent comments on ggg,s camp refuting their offer to fight, the factis ,it was forwarded after hed signed to fight Lemieux, why/.
The other nonsence is the miniscule pitance suggested by Del L Hoya for ggg to take on Canelo, $10 million, in a fight thats gonner be worth easy $100 plus, i mean talk about gready bastards, absolute joke, and disrespectful. All yo get is Canelos the A side crap over and over.Well if he wants to make that sort of cash, he needs ggg, thats for certain, that would be the biggest fight in boxing bar none atpresent, thus ggg should get a fair share of the pie bar nothing, i would say at least 45% of the revenue total. Both are gonner make silly money onthat sort of cut so other than not wanting the fight for fear of defeat and future marketability as the A side, Canelos got no complaints.
