Should Kell Brook Retire After Eye Injury & Being Rag Dolled By GGG?

GGG essentially turned Brook into cloth rag doll in the 5th round after severely injuring his eye earlier on in the fight. It looked like Brook was being thrown around the ring from one side to the other, with very little effort from GGG, sort of like that Hulk vs Loki scene.

The extent of the eye injury is yet to be determined but do you think it's safer for Brook to retire rather than risk further injury to the eye which could culminate in possible blindness.

      ... Broken eye socket?

... Poor Brook's career is finished at top level... He will never be the same.

        Yeah nice trolling.

The injury is not severe he was fine in the post fight video and he was competitive while the fight lasted

        Show some respect

The taxi driver is back from his shift we hoped you had ****ed off for good when your boyfriend Queen Khan got sent to hell

And no you utter ****head, Brook shouldn't retire. You're only saying that because it means one less threat for Khan's biscuit chin to endure

            Ragdolled is funny.

BUT there is a legit conversation to be had about injuries like Brook's injury & deciding to continue your career. I think guys who've had any sort of eye injuries surely have to think about ending their boxing career, but I suspect when you are at a high level or have potential to get to a high level & are at the 6 digit or better range there is a not so hard cost benefit analysis that goes on that goes over the pros & cons of being about to making so much money in one night vs the actual risk of being blinded.

I also tend to think serious injury pros & cons in ones boxing career is something that goes on at the beginning of ones career & at various points further down the line to decide if boxing is worth the risk of injuries that can last the rest of your life. And as a cat who used to train & spar, but never competed due to concerns with brain & other serious injuries I believe I did the same cost benefit analysis & came up with a not worth it answer.

It would be silly for Brook to retire as I thought his corner threw in the towel specfically so he could continue his career.

You have to worry that Brook might be another Margarito If I was ever a pro boxer and had a fight with Brook I'd made damn sure I targeted that side of his face it could give opponent a good chance man...
