If Kell Brooks orbital bone never got broke, would have he had continued success?

Yes, he would have had the same success he had throughout the fight of getting cornered and pummeled. The same success he had in the first when he was rocked with a double hook combo and had to cling on to save himself. The same success he had in the 3rd when he was knocked down. Even though the ref didn't call a KD, he was KDed and would have been again. Yes, he would have continued to have that same level of success

I don't think his corner was going to be involved if he came out for the 6th. I believe GGG would have settled the conflict decisively.

Kell threw really good punches with very good conviction! However GGG was still right there but when Kell took GGG's punches he started to dwindle.

It's not a welter vs middle, it's an above average power vs average power!!!!
They both weighed the same Brook has good power but GGG is above average in power.

Also most of GGG's punches weren't that damaging, as Hopkins said, he looked like he was pushing his punches and they didn't have any snap on them.

Brooks punches did have snap on them right up to the end. He may not have had the power to make GGG super cautious like Lemieux, but he had enough power to break you down over the course of 12 rounds, especially if he was outlanding GGG all night like he was.

Either way, it was a much more competitive fight than people expected. Brook looked strong and fast at 160, I think 154 will be perfect for him.

Hopefully now people will fight GGG.
I failed to see this fight competitive, especially after rewatching it. When I was watching it live (with all noise) I thought it was much more competitive. But now (after rewatching it a few times) I am more of an opinion that it was quite one-sided. I give 2nd round to Brook and that's about it.

I saw how Brook is slowing down extremely quickly and how Gennady is shifting gears finding Brook more and more often. With every body punch, I can visually see Brook slowing down. On the other hand, when Brook was landing cleanly on GGG, I didn't see much effect. I didn't see GGG going backwards or Brook being able to push him back. At times it visually looked nice, but without much effect (especially long-term effect).

No way this fight would ever go 12 rounds, no way. Brook barely survived 4.5 rounds and he looked very bad IMO (not taking into account his eye). He could barely walk straight in the last round. I just cannot see the scenario in which Brook survives more than 6 rounds. I just can't. He can't push Gennady backwards, he can't fight inside, he can't take Gennady's power. IMO, Gennady was honest after the fight when he said he felt after the 2/3 round it was only the matter of time..

          This!

I don't buy into the argument about the size either. Brook is similar how Chavez Jr was - killing himself to make 147..

His natural weight is either 154 or 160.

No. The size difference had started to get to him.

No. Golovkin was breaking him down piece by piece. Brook likely would have lasted a couple more rounds, maybe even 3, until the pounding would just be too much.

No, he would be doing post fight interviews from a hospital bed.

It doesn't mean he wanted to quit, Its just the reality of the situation.

Also I don't believe his orbital was broken in the 2nd round, I think it was broken around 2:20 mark in round 3. After getting caught with a jab then a left hook, brook started blinking and tapped his eye for the first time like it was hurt.
I always respect your opinion on here but we will disagree on this

I liked the fight it was exciting and thought Kell brought that fire in the 2,3 and most of the 4th who probably got discouraged knowing every time he threw the kitchen sink at Gennady , he just ate his best shots and responded by nodding his head like let's keep this up see who wilts first probably took all the wind out of Kells sail knowing he couldn't break Gennady

I saw a fighter after the 4th look mentally defeated and trainer tell him he's going to throw the towel if he doesn't show him something and Kell responded by 30 seconds in round 5 dropping his gloves not protecting his body or head letting Gennady tee off then pawing at his eye, then dropping the gloves again. To me whether consciously or sub consciously giving his trainer the go ahead to throw the damn towel

Again Props to Kell for making it a great fight and showing Gennadys vunerabilities but I believe he wanted out at that time and I'm not even knocking that it happens all the time in boxing
