If Growing up with a family and people around me that encouraged me to succeed and stressed the importance of education and only settle for the best is being privileged then call me privileged.

I grew up in a rural farm town in central California surrounded by Mexican people and being the one of only a few white kids out of all Mexicans taught me a lot.

And what's not cool is insulting and disrespecting people that have gone through, or going through hard times. I grew up in a broken home, been homeless, had to eat toast with Old Bay because that's ALL there was in the refrigerator. Have had to go fishing to catch dinner, or else go hungry. Ive had to move in with my grandfather or my gramdmother because we lost our home. I had to move and switch schools 4times before even entering 2nd grade. Maybe you dont know what its like, but I do. And for you to insult my friend because he went through a hard time, is to insult me, becuase Ive been there. So you can sit in your almond orchard or whatever the hell ypu live on, but dont come off as arrogant and condescending on those of us who didnt get that lucky.

Further, this is a boxing site. This isnt WSJ, Forbes, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous or none of that shiz. This is boxing. Have you done any boxing today? I've done push ups, curls, ab work, and have gone 6 rounds with a reflex bag this morning. What have you done?

G&P is an MMA term. Not a boxing term. You didn't say hed get his ears boxed off, or get his azz kicked. You basically said a ground fighter would take him down, and beat him into submission. Are you saying that the average Joe off the streets is knowledgeable enough to execute either a shoot takedown or establish a clinch and make a successful takedown against a former amateur boxer? To me it sounds, by use of the term Ground&Pound, that you are implying an MMA fighter. That would like me saying, "Hey Larry, you suck and would be subject to a single leg takedown into a Brazilian ankle lock...", yet somehow I would be referring to a novice, rather than someone actually trained in those techniques...sure...
