you could be in the best shape of your life, but if you go in wasting it all on nothing, then guess what? your gonna run out of energy!!! which all goes back to the game plan!! your trying to bring in what you think is the problem but conor even said so himself that he needed to pick his shots, he said those spinning wheel kicks didnt work, what do you think he means by this? the game plan didnt work! lol!!!!

i think you need to sit back and re-read this over. even after quotes from conor about how he wasted his energy and that he was doing moves that didnt work and your still here trying to argue that he wasnt talking about the game plan?
    This is unbelievable.

How many times does it have to be written; THE GAME PLAN IS PART OF THE PREPARATION.

His preparation wasn't right; that means his game plan wasn't right, it means he wasn't adjusted to 170, it means his conditioning wasn't right - it is all inclusive.

preparation. you prepare yourself to be in fighting shape. you run, sparred, lift weights, etc. thats preparation.

then comes the game plan as to what to do and how to do it. which is a seperate thing. conor was prepare for a fight the first time but his game plan was all wrong.

I said it was his preparation.

Read the last page, I wrote in capital letters (bolded and under-lined) at least 4 times that the game plan is only part of the preparation.

I have said this numerous times and you somehow did not get it.

Preparation is about what you are doing in camp; training for your opponent, your game plan, having a strategy to exploit weaknesses, etc...Neither guy was prepared for a fight on 10 days notice.

The game plan IS part of the preparation, HE THEREFOR WAS NOT PREPARED FOR DIAZ ON SHORT NOTICE.

Being conditioned for a fight at 155 is not the same as being conditioned for a totally different opponent at a weight 15lbs higher.

He had a full camp to prepare this time; that means a full camp at 170, a specific game plan for the opponent, a different breakdown of training styles within camp...that is what preparation is, neither guy can have proper preparation on 10 days notice.

Seriously, take a minute to actually read this and think about it.

He was throwing every shot looking for a knockout and ran out of steam, his preparation was not correct for Diaz the 1st time.

            No, that is purely conditioning.

Preparation is the whole package; you prepare a strategy, you prepare your body, you prepare your mind, you prepare for adjustments...preparation is your entire camp purpose.

Probably one of the worst articles I've ever read on here. Not only is this click bait but McGregor gave absolutely no "hints" that he was pursuing Mayweathsr. This writer is just recycling things McGregor said weeks ago and mashing it together with the things McGregor said at the post fight interview. Terrible article and this was obviously only made to lure people here.

and no, this will not generate floyd/pac numbers. yall fools crazy to even think it will.
Again, casuals who don't know any better and who never watched boxing - they just "heard about" Mayweather and how much money the dude has will tune in for that fight.

Remember Toney/Couture? Half a million buys for that train wreck - and nobody believed Toney had a whisper of a chance. More buys than Pacquiao's last fight.

Diaz went down because of the leg kicks before hand, first of all.

Second, I find it funny you would say this, since I believe you were one of the ones claiming Maidana would drop Floyd simply because he dropped Broner. How'd that work out for you?
