If his 3 test prior to the positive test were clean then shouldn't it be clear as day that he used Meldonium leading up to the fight??? How can he pass his first 3 test then all of a sudden it shows up on his last two? Sounds fishy! Oh well no one actually cares about drug testing in this sport unless it involves certain fighters. Just look at Salido-Vargas, had Haymon been involved I guarantee there would be a 2 page article from Thomas Hauser on Boxingscene.
Because the level of said drug found in his system was very miniscule it was more than likely a case of him not being dehyrated which would make his urine less diluted on that day. Were talking a level 14 times smaller than wada said would be enough to constitute failing at this point. Ive failed urine tests 2 weeks after smoking one joint when i was a little dehydrated and my urine was dark yellow. Ive also passed tests after a week of heavy smoking by drinking massive amounts of water and pjssing a few times before the test and my urine came out clear as water
Not difficult to understand really The ruling is that he is presumed innocent off committing the crime of taking meldronium after Jan 1st as there insufficient evidence to prove that he did.
It's for sure not clear. Idc about the meldronium bs. I care about the fight. So if Povetkin is just all good now when does the Wilder fight happen? 4mos, 6mos or after his year of testing? When/If the fight goes down does World of Boxing's purse bid win from the postponed fight stand or is there a whole new purse bid since this situation may have increased or decreased the value of this fight? That's the interesting questions to me right now, not more substance I can't pronounce bs.
