I'd like to see what he can do at 168, but that's up to him.

Trust me, we seen this same hate with Joe Calzaghe. "168 is a wasteland". "Jeff Lacy will Ko him easily". "Kessler is still green" etc etc.

Both Rigo and GGG are in their natural limits...
Should we give credit for guys like Ward for moving up to his natural weight class?
Should we give credit for someone's body maturing over years as they get older or should we just accept that it comes with maturity especially If you're a younger man.

I believe all boxers have a right to make their own career decisions including what weight they will compete at. I don't think they should have to move up in weight if they don't want to just because some fans insist they move up. I believe the reason we have weight classes is so all boxers can fight other boxers their same size and no bigger. My only complaint would be a champion who consistently refuses to fight the top challengers in their weight class when a fair money offer is made. They have an obligation as champion to fight the top challengers. Maybe not every fight but at least once a year. In the case of both Rigo and GGG often times the top challengers in their weight class do not want to fight them. That still doesn't mean they have to move up and fight men bigger than themselves, at least not in my opinion. I am a GGG fan but my standards are the same for all boxers. I say let Crawford fight in what ever weight class he wants to fight in and more power to him.

I never demand anybody move up or down in weight. They know what's best for them.
That being said, if 160 is Golovkin's best weight, then why should he move up? I'm not saying you're arguing that either. I'm just using the same logic as you use above, which I agree with. Hagler, Pep and so many greats stayed in one division and I have no less respect for them.
