Its a FACT, Brook himself said he is a natural 160. He was killing himself to make WW, Gennady could kill himself to make WW too. Brook is actually thicker than Gennady and has been sparring LHWs for long time. These are two undefeated NATURAL MWs fighters in their prime going at it. The atmosphere is crazy for this one!!!!!

Canelo didn't want to fight him though...Canelo also has 14 more fights than this man a considerably more powerful promoter and a Mexican tv network backing him and pushing his career. That's not an excuse its an explanation of the facts. Yes Golovkin doesn't have a great resume but he has two hall of fame bound boxers say no and every belt holder at 160 practically requiring to be dragged into a ring kicking and screaming to fight him with their "I need a year".

so in the mean time why didnt GGG fight ramieraz at 168 for his world title rather then fight brook for no title?

canelo is the cash cow over GGG, he can do what he wants regardless of what fans think, just like what mayweather did with pacman. he knows you guys will still buy the PPV no matter what.

even if it takes 3 years to make you guys will still watch just like everyone claimed they were sick of may-pac and after 6 years 4.4 million still bought the fight lol.

Brook will likely being giving up close to 10 lbs in weight on fight night. That's not a small disadvantage. Also, wouldn't he be sacrificing speed by coming in heavier than normal. He may kill himself to get below 147 but it's obvious that he doesn't rehydrate a lot like Alvarez.

No, he has a different body type to Canelo, plus, he's older. I don't think he was drying out to make 147, just working hard in camp and watching the calories so he didn't need to dry out.

He has a smaller frame than GGG but seems to be one of those guys who finds it easy to put on lean muscle weight. He says he is just over 160 now and won't rehydrate much at all after the weigh in.

i think its bogus he is fighting smith also, but at least its for a world title to add to his resume. while GGG is fighting brook when he also could have fought degale.

He's right 156 which he weighs on fight night is a natural middleweight, 170+ which Lil G weighs is a natural LHW. Still 2 divisions difference.
