Of all the fighters who got the big Floyd payday I think Maidana was the least likely, dude went on a hArd grind ever since he got the Ortiz fight.

Maidana is further proof you don't need need to protect your record to get big fights and big paydays.

Hmm, he got a decent career, had his big paydays and now can enjoy retirement. Sad to see sometimes former boxers being really fatties later on, but hey, if they are done with the sports, let them enjoy retirement how they wish
