With Pacman's senatorial duties I don't know if it's realistic to even throw around the idea of a fight at 140. He might not even have a normal training camp. I can't see it. Maybe a 144 catchweight or something like that but what most likely happens next is Jessie Vargas at 147. The fight with Crawford is likely difficult to negotiate. I'm sure Vargas will jump at the chance to fight Pacman at whatever weight is dictated to him. Pac-Crawford ain't happening next. No way!

I think it would be a close fight but Crawford is no Mayweather although I do think Crawford is one of the best in the sport. This is the fight Pacquiao needs to make, it would easily be another 20 million payday and a win over Crawford would definitely add to his legacy.
I love Bradley, but he's much more a great athlete and competitor than he is a boxer. TC is miles beyond Bradley in terms of boxing talent and ring savvy. Pac fans are going to be awfully upset and full of excuses at the end of a Pac-Crawford fight. Crawford schools him worse than Floyd did.

The only way this fight ever takes place is when Arum is at least 90-95% Crawford will win. Arum saw a 40 lw beat Manny in most peoples eyes and then signed undefeated Bradley and matched him up with Pac. Tim was supposed to win in a passing the torch fight. The refs knew this and saw that it happened. Now no one cares about Bradley and he isn't a ppv fighter. Crawford is the only hope for top stank to stay relevant. As soon as his lawsuit against Haymon got thrown out Arum starts talking to Haymon again. This is because Arum has Crawford and no other real hope. Hearn has G, GB has Canelo, Haymon the advisor has 200 fighters and Arum has Crawford. No way does Crawford lose in an inhouse tr fight. Look how long it took for Crawford to face his first real opponent. And no one knows how good Crawford is. Broner looked just as sharp til he fought Maidana and Porter. Postol is good, but Maidana at 147 and Porter at 144 are the much more difficult opponents. I'm not sure Crawford could beat Porter at any weight and a 2013 Maidana would probably win. Just because he beat an opponent who was good but not great, and one that he was supposed to beat somehow makes him a p4p fighter.
That's ******ed. Cotto was the only time he dragged a welter down, and that was his first fight vs a legit welter, in his 7th division. Both Bradley and Rios had moved up already, and Marquez got a CW for 3, then decided to move up and chase that 5th belt he wanted

Lol at Crawford trying to make rules for a legend. And he's bigger than Manny, just younger so he can cut weight better.

            **** these young coward fighters.

I'm surprised Crawford has doubts fighting at '47. He has the skills, height and reach to succeed in that weight class.

Bradley had 1 fight above 140 and that was 2 years before Manny. Alexander and Rios were his two foes before Pac. So he had 1 fight two years earlier at ww. He went back down to his natural weight. Until he had a chance for a record payday. Then he went back to 147. As for Rios, you are just plain ignorant and proved to be one of those who will make things up to protect the rep of Pac. The fact remains Rios had never fought above 140 in his career. In fact, 18 months prior to facing Pac Rios had actually been fighting at LW! You are semi-rite about JMM. He had fought his previous bout at 140 and had fought Mayweather at 146. But less than a year before Pac finally gave JMM a third fight Marquez was fighting at lightweight. Quite similar to Rios. It was Oscars own fault but he definitely was weakened because of it being his ww fight in almost a decade. Algieri was also fighting for a higher weight than he ever had before. Roach was saying then Pac was better at 140. Yet he dragged up Bradley, Rios, Marquez and Algieri. Cotto and ODLH were obviously hurt by the cw too.

He is one of the greatest, but he's too old and he needs to concentrate on some other things. The biggest problem of greatest boxers is that they don't know where to stop, like Roy Jones Jr.

no, wait..... right, I forgot..... you adore Manny.....

..... so, the A-side decides the weight, EXCEPT when your guy is not the A-side..... is that right?

you do know..... that is the exact kind of two-faced bull**** that made the world hate you guys..... right?

please dont compare pac to Canelo. Canelo is not legendary fighter, Canelo is not an ATG, Canelo dont have HOF spot locked since 10 years ago.

Pac will be the one who bring the money, pac will be the one who bring the glory. Crawford has no right to be dictating anything.

Just like pacquiao and mayweather jump 2 weight division to fight oscar, this youngster should do the same. for god sake Manny is 38 year old part time boxer, this youngster look really patethic with his demand risking achance for an ultimate glory and biggest payday of his career.

i believe crawford can UD Pacquaio even at 147
