Sanchez has verified that K2 NEVER asked Ward for a catchweight. Saying "50/50 money and weight would be fair" during an interview with a journalist is not the same as saying "We will only go up to 164" during negotiations for a fight.

You will keep peddling your bullshit though, whether through ******ity or a biased agenda, only you know.

Who is he going to fight at 168?

Jack and DeGale are unavailable and the others are either Haymon-advised or ordinary/unproven

It's just 160 with a few extra pounds and most fights would be irrelevant in the scheme of legacy

Right -- so when Sanchez suggested that, what was the actual offer? What did they ask for? Last year during that time. Don't worry, i'll wait.

Natural weight is over used..when you put on 13-15 pounds overnight that is NOT your natural weight.

They didn't ask for anything. They told Ward that Golovkin was focused on 160, and if he wanted to fight him at 168 he should come back to them in 2017, because they weren't moving up till then.

It is if you have to lose 13/15 lbs of water to make your fighting weight. You then rehydrate back up to your natural weight.

Golovkin can't put on 13/15 overnight though because the IBF have a 10lb overnight rehydration limit for all their title fights.

I think they're going to unify the middleweight division first. They're still thirsty for that Canelo fight but they'll have to give up on it by 2018 if it still hasn't come together.

Ward has his plate full at the moment. But if he beats Kovalev then he is going to actively want to pursue the GGG fight again as it's the biggest fight to make. Maybe Ward will get Stevenson if he beats Kovalev, or vice versa.

Stevenson is ripe and ready to either get blasted out by Kovalev or have his head boxed off by Ward.

So they turned down Ward because they didn't want to move up (for him). Sounds about right.
