Ward will clown Kovalev
People are so naive, thinking Kovalev stands anything more than just a puncher's chance against Ward. Kovalev doesn't have a bigger size advantage than Froch or Kessler did, two proven elite fighters whom Ward completely disarmed. His punching power is bigger, yeah, but he doesn't have the speed or skills to take advantage of it. Kovalev is not on a different level from Froch or Kessler, he's around their level. Ward will absolutely clown him and it's obvious to anyone who knows anything about boxing. To be honest, we should already start thinking about who that could be a fitting opponent for Ward when he's done with Kovalev and who Kovalev should face in a confidence booster to get back on track after Ward beats him.

Not so sure about "clown". And he's certainly faster than Froch and Abraham. I predict Ward will win an 8-4 decision, with Kovalev having his moments. Kovalev might even rock Ward a time or two but Ward will hold on.Comment

When has Kovalev ever proven to be able to keep up with a defensive speedy genius like Ward? He will get beaten in the same way Kessler and Froch, his equals, got beaten. Technically simple fighters just can't catch Ward effectively.Originally posted by BKM- View PostComment
