    It's not a bad strategy to go free tv since you are making a million plus per bout, the problem though is you have to fight a lot of no-hopers in between a high profile fight to make your nut. A few of those 50k a fight like diego chaves for example.

        This. I think Thurman will try to stay off PPV for as long as possible, but it feels inevitable if he keeps winning. Let's hope that if it does happen, the best will be fighting the best for the undisputed crown.

              It's a smart move, but did Keith have any realistic ppv options anyways? If he was in line to fight Canelo, he change his tune.
