A rematch against Shawn Porter and a welterweight championship unification fight against Danny Garcia conceivably could be pay-per-view fights for Thurman. The unbeaten WBA 147-pound champion would prefer, however, to continue fighting on network television because it'll expose him to the largest possible audience.

That fight was better than a lot of PPV fights. I think boxing on network TV will make the sport relevant in America once again. When Ali was king, I was watching him on ABC's Wide World of Sports with Howard Cosell. I didn't pay to watch Sugar Ray Leonard either. I don't pay to watch the Super Bowl, why would I want to pay to watch Crawford vs. Postol?

Good. I disagree with the writer. A rematch with Porter isn't PPV worthy. A fight with Garcia isn't PPV worthy. Just because those are good fights don't make them PPV worthy. Let's get away from the mentality that we have to buy good fights.

Keith is simply saying what we already know. As hard as they sell him, he's not a PPV attraction. Not yet. He's a Saturday, Wild World of Sports throwback and that's a bonanza for fight fans.
