First Sharbanskky priced himself out. Now I hear Cleverly choose to fight Braehmer for more money instead of Ward. He came out of his pocket to give Barrera his highest payday. HBO has gotta chip in and pay extra for his opponents. Eldier Alvarez has a July date scheduled with no opponent but I doubt HBO will allow him to fight off network. HBO needs to go to Golden Boy and see how much it'll take to get Sharbanskky

What is HBO going to do about getting Ward another opponent?

Hopefully they find him someone cuz I feel like if they don't get him a July guy then the November thing might not go down or be pushed out a month or two & I got epoints riding on November happening.

I don't think a tune up fight for Ward on HBO in July makes Kovalev-Ward any bigger in November, unless it is against someone worth watching (which doesn't appear to likely). Ward is not must see tv.

Ffs. How many tune ups does this guy need? He hasn't fought anyone with a pulse for what? 5 years?

Either way, Ward is in very difficult and challenging waters in getting hit by elites at 175. He showed no ring rust against Barrera, and played a smart defensive game too. Ward looks like they are doing the right thing to the path..
