Wilder ain't ducking Povetkin. If one of them is ducking it all points to Povetkin. Looks like he thinks he has to cheat to beat Wilder. You pass multiple drug tests then all of a sudden fail one. He cheated & you & all his supporters need to accept it & quit making excuses for the guy. He blew it & doesn't deserve his shot anymore.
Well it's not like I'm all alone here, as you know plenty of people think this has been perhaps blown out of proportions,

Im one of the few also thats not sold on Povetkin s TRACE amount warrants to cancle the fight entirely when ,blood znd urine tests can produce different results and Meldonium is referenced can stay in body for months . Ithink it deserves a little lean way also regardless since the amount falls far below guidelines anyway ,fighters like Ortiz ,Wach and Arreola have been popped for far worse im not sure why the double standard here . Its also not like this ped was going to be in his blood stream in enough amounts to actually make a difference .

To me this is like Whyte getting banned for use of jack3d an over the counter work out powder that enhances oxygen levels and blood flow. Not defending anyone but this is double standard here with no concrete proof to deliberate doping to call off a world championship fight ,im just puzzled why Wilder was not willing to try and fix or see what the full situation was , he ran off to abruptly for my liking ,whether hes right or wrong ,and no im not BLAMING Wilder before the lynch mob arrives !
No, I'm not blaming Wilder either, doing so is ******, but he IS trying to avoid Povetkin. Just by the face of it.

      Wilders options:

      Heavyweight
      Ring Ratings
For ratings ended May. 24, 2016

Champ: Tyson Fury- is fighting ring no.1

1.Wladimir Klitschko- is fight ring champ

2.Alexander Povetkin- was suppose to fight wilder but got popped taking drugs

      3.Deontay Wilder- Self

      4. Kubrat Pulev-Just fought

5.Luis Ortiz- has s fight with Ustinov

      6. Anthony Joshua- is Available

7.Bermane Stiverne- Already Beat but is Available

      8.Joseph Parker- Just fought

      9.Bryant Jennings- is Available

      10. David Haye- Just fought might be Available but has a date with Briggs.

So let's see if the list of 11 he has 3 choices

Joshua- while a dream match would be very ****** and a waste of a mega fight on short notice, needs time to build.

      Stiverne- treading old ground.

      Jennings- lost last 2 fights.

Of of all the top guys in the division Wilder had no options..... Povetkin really screwed him on this.

        1 .- Alexander Povetkin (Russia)
        2 .- Bermane Stiverne (Haiti/Canada)
3 .- Kubrat Pulev (Bulgaria) EBU
4 .- Johann Duhaupas (France) SILVER
        5 .- Carlos Takam (Cameroon)
6 .- Joseph Parker (New Zealand) OPBF
7 .- Andy Ruiz (Mexico) NABF
        8 .- David Haye (GB)
        9 .- Bryant Jennings (US)
        10 .- Malik Scott (US)
        11 .- Artur Szpilka (Poland)
        12 .- Eric Molina (US)
        13 .- Dereck Chisora (GB)
        14 .- Ruslan Chagaev (Uzbekistan/Germany)
        15 .- Gerald Washington (US)
        16 .- Kyotaro Fujimoto (Japan)
Gerald Washington is most likely especially since #1 is a cheater and #2/4/10/11/12 have already been vanquished.

#3/6 are on the IBF route. #5/13 just fought and lost to #3/6. #14 is on the WBA route.

        So that leaves:
Bryant Jennings, would have been interesting before the Ortiz KO. Andy Ruiz, would be interesting but he's with Top Rank. David Haye, would be the most interesting but he's early in his comeback and isn't fighting top level opposition yet.

I'd like to see Haye or Ruiz, but I expect Washington.

At the end of the day Povetkin gets all the blame. If he doesn't pass all them tests prior to the failed test then people could say maybe there was traces from last year. The problem is he passed 3 before he failed. There is nothing to argue & povetkin's team should grow some balls & accept any punishment. He was pretty quick to cast stones at Jones just like the "i was a clean fighter before i went there" bull**** Lucas Browne came up with. Sure anyone can be clean 6 days before the fight. It doesn't mean he didn't take something after. Fury warned Browne. Told him to prepare his own food & drink. He still failed...

Povetkin doesn't deserve it. How could he blow a fight of this magnitude. After all the back and forth, unbelievable!

The WBC is currently negotiating a settlement with Povetkin's promoter. If the promoter offers a settlement that the WBC's approves, Povetkin will get his title shot.

In the meantime, Wilder is going to face another stiff -- likely Chris Algiere -- the guy who lost twice, once by KO to a guy that Wilder has already defeated. That makes him the perfect opponent for Wilder.

Stiverne is still better than Arreola. Even Jennings on a two-loss streak is better than Arreola. I think Szpilka is still better than Arreola. And maybe Andy Ruiz too.
