**** idk. I don't know that he's made a decision on not fighting Povetkin. I suspect if the WBC guy says he needs to fight him after some 6mos or year long suspension that Wilder will.

I'm just saying I am a fan of fighters taking their own measures like Cunningham is currently doing & like Wilder seems to be giving some early indications of doing.

Isn't Ruiz having some "confidence" issues or something like that lately. Plus I'd be surprised if Bob lets Ruiz get thrown to Wilder next. And I definitely feel like Ruiz will be thrown to Wilder if that fight happens so its basically Bob giving up on him.

I belive Ryabinsky would still demand Wilder to face Povetkin should the WBC go through with the fight later on. Wilder can avoid him of course but it'd look like ducking. Wilder has been ambiguous in his statements lately whether he still intends to fight him or not.

For me it doesn't matter. I don't see Wilder as a real champ. Josh-Fury-Vlad-Povetkin... these are the real names currently.

I agree. I tend to think he's already more or less confirmed Povetkin will still be considered a mandatory with the WBC guy. Maybe there will be a 6 month suspension at worst.

Lets be real. Whatever Wilder does he's gonna be **** on. He's got a sloppy ass style & throws some goofy ass punches. Whoever he beats it'll be downplayed, whoever he loses to will get their chest beaten Tarzan style.

I don't see Wilder as a real champ.
Fury is the only real champ. Everyone else gots **** to prove.

PEDetvkin is a cheat. Don't even belong in the same sentence with Vlad, Fury, Joshua.

AND some quacks say someone from Wilders camp somehow got PEDetvkin to come up dirty! Yeah Wilder flew to Russia in the middle of the night. Hopped some fences and climb a balcony to sneak into PEDs room and inject him all while he was sleeping dreaming about world peace and how to solve world hunger...

Lol! Come on man... I don't like Wilder anymore then you do but it was Povetkin prolonging the fight not Wilder. Outside Povetkin disciples it looks like that extention team povetkin asked for last year looks suspect. He also dropped out of 2 mandatory positions in the past. This was his 3rd... Wilder ain't ducking Povetkin. If one of them is ducking it all points to Povetkin. Looks like he thinks he has to cheat to beat Wilder. You pass multiple drug tests then all of a sudden fail one. He cheated & you & all his supporters need to accept it & quit making excuses for the guy. He blew it & doesn't deserve his shot anymore.

Ruiz has said he would fight Ortiz. He is also expected to be in the other IBF eliminator with the winner fighting Pulev for the mandatory shot in 2017. Ruiz could also be considered for Wilder. Uncle Bob could have him fight Wilder on Mexican independence day in september. He should be able to use his mexican heritage to help sell the fight.

This what i dont get ,Ortiz was caught with actual steroids and Povetkin was caught with a substance more similar to caffeine yet everybody claims everybody is ducking Ortiz and Povetkin is a drug cheat? . Im one of the few also thats not sold on Povetkin s TRACE amount warrants to cancle the fight entirely when ,blood znd urine tests can produce different results and Meldonium is referenced can stay in body for months . Ithink it deserves a little lean way also regardless since the amount falls far below guidelines anyway ,fighters like Ortiz ,Wach and Arreola have been popped for far worse im not sure why the double standard here . Its also not like this ped was going to be in his blood stream in enough amounts to actually make a difference .

To me this is like Whyte getting banned for use of jack3d an over the counter work out powder that enhances oxygen levels and blood flow. Not defending anyone but this is double standard here with no concrete proof to deliberate doping to call off a world championship fight ,im just puzzled why Wilder was not willing to try and fix or see what the full situation was , he ran off to abruptly for my liking ,whether hes right or wrong ,and no im not BLAMING Wilder before the lynch mob arrives !
