    I dont believe that it was staged. When a guy is gearing up to fight another and then you find him infront of your face things can get really intense. I never fight outside of the ring, I feel it would disgrace my honor if I was to do so. However, there have been situations where a guy I was to fight the next night starts up, Im ready to go at that moment or the next night. Whichever, it didnt seem to matter. Because the adrenaline begins to pump as soon as you see him. Then to have Mayorga slap Oscar upside his head.... Game on!!!!! It was not staged.

      He also had only one "No Contest" in 229 fights (194 Ws- 26 Ls- 8 Ds- 1- NC (141KOs). Three of his losses were to one man: Ezzard Charles.
