      Yeah you're correct.

I was only going by what Lennox said himself.

During his child hood Ali was trained to box by an Irish police officer, because some kids stole his(Ali)bike and wanted to learn how to fight, so that he could beat them up when he found them.

Calvin Brock is a Tap dancer.

Kid Gavilan (real name: Gerardo Gonzalez) took his ring monicker from the name of his manager's grocery store, El Gavilan. He took the Welterweight title left behind by Sugar Ray Robinson who moved up to Middleweight. Only two men were able to take Gavilan off his feet in 143 bouts: Carmen Basilio and Ike Williams.

Flash Elorde (real name: Gabriel Elorde) took his ring name from the title of a radio news show ("Kintanar Radio News Flash") which was sponsored by his manager who was also the owner of the store-cum-repair shop named, Kintanar Radio Shop. "Flash" was not meant to describe the speed of his punches. A Filipino, he had the longest Jr. Lightweight reign in modern boxing.

Thai fighters usually take their ring names from the names of their sponsors (e.g., "3k Battery') or the names of their gyms (thus, "Rakiat gym").

Why would any professional fighter want to fight and not get paid. It would be like if your an accountant and somebody gives you their taxes to do, wouldnt you want to get paid for it?

My trainer gave me a line to use when confronted with a fight. Ask the guy how much money he has in his pocket, offer to match it and then tell him, "cause mother****er I get paid to fight... I dont fight for free."

Yea this is what I dont understand. He says he neer has a street fight and he never will he always avoids them. But at the press conferences w/ Mayorga Oscar acted like he was about to fight him right there and went after him, but i thought he never gets in fist fights. Can you say staged?

Nah, I dont think it was staged. There's a big difference when someone is egging you on to fight them to someone actually slapping you upside your head. I'm sure there hasnt been anyone outside the ring to actually go ahead and try to slap Oscar around. And remember, he didnt actually fight him at the press conference. So his streak is still alive.
