Little G.
The sport is full of casuals. It was obvious GGG was trying to force a money fight with favorable terms because negotiations on even ground means he gets significantly less money.
The whole thing was pathetic.

You're a fool. Canelo didn't give up the belt technically he gave it back.
GGG has been saying all along that he wanted the belt. When Cotto had it he kept pressuring him to give it up. Then Cotto and Canelo fight is finalized and all of the sudden GGG ask for step aside money instead of having Cotto relinquish the belt, which he would have done to continue with his fight with canelo.
Why wouldn't little G take the belt? Why take the step aside money?. So when canelo won he could push for a fight because canelo has the belt. So canelo took away the only chip lil G had to play. Now they have to negotiate on even ground, based on accomplishment and money earned and they can't because GGG pales in comparison.
He is mid 30's fighting the level of guys canelo was knocking out at the age of 18!
Now Canelo can move up to 160 and steal all the money fights. GGG screwed himself, and we all know he won't move up and fight Ramirez, degeale or Direll. He won't even fight Lara!

Gatti made it with wins over Gamache and Leija, but you don't think Alvarez will make it in?

Option 1: Dont get the Cotto fight, and get $0.00
Option 2: Dont get the Cotto fight, and get $800,000.00
golly gee shucks I dont know which is the smarter option.............

Canelo gave up his belt to Triple G, so now he might was well get on his knees and open wide for Triple G too.
